KeenLook Review Performed After
Construction Has Begun

In these types of KeenLook reviews, we perform a coordination review only on requested areas of concern which could be just one discipline or one area of a structure, or the entire construction document set. Whatever works best for the client.

Nigro Firm: toon with shovelOccasionally it is difficult to schedule the time to get the drawings and specs coordination reviewed, and corrected, prior to putting the project out to bid. In these cases, the review often is done in parallel with the bidding process, or even after ground breaking. This isn't ideal since it's more desirable to get the documents reviewed and corrected prior to the bidding process to ensure tighter and lower bids, but it is still much, much better than no review at all. The later the coordination errors and omissions are found, the more expensive it is to fix them.

In some cases, after ground breaking and some time into the project, it becomes clear that things aren't going as smoothly as you'd like. And you'd like to get a heads up on where future problems may crop up due to coordination errors in the drawings and specs. A KeenLook Review can quickly check an area that you anticipate a problem in or to review the entire set. This review may also be useful to support litigation or forensics.
