Review Services Overview

Unfortunately, we have not found an industry-wide agreed upon term for the type of construction document reviews that we offer our clients here at the Nigro Firm. If you visit other pre-construction service sites, you will notice a variety of terms used to describe the type of work we do, from constructability reviews to design coordination, it can get quite confusing!

The good news is that a rose, by any other name, is still a rose! So now we just need to define the essential elements that make something a rose.

To help alleviate some of the confusion, we have researched the most common terms and have defined them here. We also indicate whether the Nigro Firm offers that type of review and list alternate phrasing.

Some of the terms are more general, and some more specific. For example, interdisciplinary coordination review is a subset of construction document coordination review, which is a subset of constructability review, which is then a subset of construction document review!
